Concert Programming at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center

In 2018, the City of Encinitas Cultural Arts Division plans to develop concert programming at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center and utilize the double banquet room as a new concert venue for the city. To do this, a new 9′ concert grand piano is needed. The purchase will be funded one-third from the City’s General Fund and one-third from donations to Encinitas Friend of the Arts. Grant funding will be sought for one-third from the county and other sources. The total purchase cost is $117,000.

The city and Encinitas Friends of the Arts will schedule concerts for audiences of up to 500 people that will be free of charge and ticketed, and feature the finest performers from throughout Southern California performing all styles of music: jazz, contemporary, folk, classical, reggae, and more!
